I can’t think of many things that are nicer than the daily ritual of a long soak in a bubble bath with a facepack on. It gives me time to unwind and have a think about the day that has been and the things I need to do tomorrow.
My essentials for this treat start with some Liz Earle products – Cleanse & Polish, which I use to remove all traces of make up, Brightening Treatment Mask – which has the most amazing fragrance and instantly revitalises dull skin. It contains stimulating camphor oil and toning witch hazel. I also love the Orange Flower Body Wash, which I have been using for years (along many other Liz Earle products).
Another must have for my bathing heaven are Christy towels, which I think are the best and fluffiest towels in the world – and I only ever buy white bath towels!
Talking of which The White Company is another of my favourite shops and their room fragrance diffusers are gorgeous, at the moment my favourite is in Cassis, a sophisticated scent of fruity ripe blackberries and blackcurrants with a woody base of cedar, clove and patchouli…mmmm – it’s so delicious! It is just perfect for an autumn evening relaxing in the bath, and when you have finished… the house smells great too!
